Reliable User-Friendly Secure Vault Software

    I am seeking recommendations for software that I can put on my flash drive or laptop that will create a secure "vault" password protected where I can store files.

    Sandisk Secure Vault is junk. I may even have lost files using it.

    Of course anyone wants free if possible but I am willing to pay for an easy to use and reliable vault software.

    Suggestions appreciated.
