XP has default programs on the start button:
    "my documents "
    "my pictures "
    "my music "
    "my computer "
    "my network places "

I had to move "my music" to a diff partition. How can I change the path for
this, so that I can click on start > "my music" and go to the new dir?

    Thanks
    Tim

Should be under documents & settings, and a combination of stuff in All Users and your user account, start menu.

If you go to the music folder often, might be simpler to create a desktop shortcut and then drag a copy to the Quick Launch section of your toolbar. That way you can single-click to open the folder whenever you want.

Click Start/Help and Support and search for folder redirection. Newt is right, though. The shortcut is easier.
