I cannot open SanDisk Secure Access Vault. This is privacy feature.

I cannot see the the Sandisk Secure Access Vault or the window into which files are supposed to be put into the vault.

When I click on the SanDisk "Vault ", it says it is already open, but I do not know where it is located. It does not come up in a search.

I ran Windows troubleshooting, it said SanDisk Secure Access was an incompatible application.

But Sandisk says it is compatible with Windows 7.

another factor might be the previously I had installed an OS called TAILS which is a TOR - related OS. It required me to create a password to access parts of my files. Now I cannot access some files in Windows 7, so I may have to figure out how to undo some things that TAILS has done.

I would like to know if this is why SanDisk Secure Access Vault is not working and is now listed as incompatible.

If not, is there another reason. Is SanDisk just wrong about Windows 7?

Whenever you get ready to remove the SanDisk USB drive, close SecureAccess and then use Safely Remove Hardware. If you don't, you risk scrambling data on the USB drive. :(

BTW, you may have better luck figuring out how to regain access on SanDisk's All SanDisk USB Flash Drives forum.

I always use the "Safely Remove Drive" function.

I think the problem my have something to do with my having run the TAILS OS (related to TOR) from the DVD.

I have since been able to run the SanDisk Program.

What I need to figure out is whether running the TAIL program will affect programs I run on Win 7 when not running TAILS. If that is the case then it might not be better to create passwords, etc.
