I have Windows Calendar running on my Windows 7 machine (copied it over from my old Vista machine) and have the "Reminders should show when Windows Calendar is not running" under "Options..." in the File menu turned ON, *but* the reminders will not popup at the required time when it's closed. If I open Windows Calendar they pop but not when it's closed. Has anyone gotten this to work in Windows 7?

I even tried the suggestions here to no avail:

    [Admin: Dead link removed]

Maybe because it was not really designed for Win 7.

Sadly I tried that web page but the link to Window Calendar goes to a page that no longer exists (get a 'Invalid or Deleted File. ' message). I've downloaded another program that does calendar reminders called 'Desktop Reminder 2', but was just used to Windows Calendar. In any event all that page would do is have me copy Vista's version (which I did from my Vista machine) and create a shortcut to it which I did. Does nothing about fixing reminders (the link I posted above shows a way to possibly fix reminders but that didn't work for me either).

I was hoping there was a windows 7 version but haven't found anything on the net.
