Birthday reminder

Hi,

Does anyone know of a program that I can use as a device to remind me of birthdays, etc?

I would like something that will come up on the screen when I switch the computer on in the morning, telling me that it is so-and-so’s birthday in two day’s time, thus giving me time to get the card and send it in time.

If anyone knows of something like this, I would be most gratefull.
