The internal HDD of my laptop, Seagate Momentus 7200.4, is not detected by the BIOS and does not spin. I changed the HDD PCB by a PCB of a working Seagate Momentus 7200.4. The drive is spinning now, the head are moving but the HDD is still not detected by the BIOS.
    How could this be solved?

Is the HD driver installed? Windows normally instals an HD at first power up.

Changing the PCB on a hard drive is a very dodgy operation and will only succeed if the drives are identical in every respect right down to the firmware and version.

One question I would ask - did you try the working drive in the laptop before changing the PCB to confirm that the original problem was with the drive and not elsewhere?

Throw away the hard disk, get a new one and restore from your backup.

Now, you didn't provide much of a history here, but since you decided to try & replace the PCB to try and 'rescue' the drive tells me you don't have a backup.

When the drive has failed mechanically there's only one thing left to do. Contact Ontrack and get a free quote for recovery.

You could try making the Seagate Seatools utility boot disk (on another computer), although I agree with Pete and Arie and wouldn't hold much hope.
