I just purchased one of those VHS to PC capture devices (dongle) which has RCA component input and hooks up via USB connection. Problem is I get the video but no sound. I checked everything I could think of but no sound. I check the VHS player by input to a TV and VHS sound is okay. I am not using a sound card but the internal sound system (Realtek). I must be missing something because the video software says it has detected video and audio. Using Ulead software.

Hi , have you configured SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES , via control panel,
"Sound Recording default device" from On-board Device (model) to : CAPTURE device (Model)
