when trying to update my itunes, I started getting an error message telling me to remove and reinstall itunes. I have removed itunes and now am unable to reinstall. I have already spoken with an apple help advisor and they sent me instructions. I have done everything they instructed, but am unable to remove just one file and nothing seems to work. I even tried in safe mode.

I went ahead and tried again to update, with no avail! I have rebooted. If anyone can advise, I would be very appreciative!

    Thank you in advance,
    CK

    1> remove itune
2> boot in safe mode & rename itune mother directory to xx
3> boot in normal mode & download offline installer of itune & install
