Can't Update after system recovery!

    I have just done a full system recovery after a losing battle. Against a bug, worm, or just poor operator error. But now when I try to automatically update my Windows, I get an error code saying I need to download SP2 or later. Which would be fine but apparently I have to already have some of the add-ons that I won't get until I download it again. HELP please I am going nuts trying to get around this. ERROR# Ox8024400A

    You can skip SP2. Google-> XP SP3 and you should be able to find a stand alone download. After installing that, you'll be good to go..... I just did this last week..
