I have just upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 Home Premium.
My email program is Windows Live Mail.
I am getting used to a lot of the functions, however, access to a User Guide would be handy. I can't find any instruction on the program to date.
NB. At this stage my main concern is that I can't 'highlight' a suspicious/spam email without it opening. I just wish to highlight and delete them without opening. I have tried everything.
Could someone help with this particular issue and also direct me to a link for a user guide.
    Thanks.....Joker

Isn't there a little "box" you can check and then click the delete link?

You just select the message (right-click on it) and choose Delete.

You'll need to have the Reading pane set to Off of course.

    Thanks Arie.
The 'off button' in the reading pane was the crucial one.
Thanks for your help. Please consider matter closed.

    Thanks Arie,
I meant to clarify that when I went into the Reading Pane, I reset it to OFF and as soon as I did that, I was able to right click and delete.
My apologies for not remembering to mark the post as solved.
