I'm running Win7 and Microsoft outlook 2007. I am receiving e-mail I would like to block. When I select Block Sender I get a message saying I can only block e-mail with proper addresses. These e-mail addresses are not made up with NAME@WEB/ORGANIZATION. How come these e-mails are not "correct" address'? How can I block them?

    Thank you
    Kevin

If you can - go to the Web Mail version at your ISP's site and report the mail as spam.

This is usually the best way to do it.

Steve thanks for the reply. I have been unable to get through to my mail provider, but I will keep trying.

Can you access your mail via their web site - aka Web Mail? If so, they'll probably have a "report as spam" option.

You don't need to call them if that is what you are saying. You do it yourself from your ISP's web mail.

Steve I was able to link to a chat page in Time Warner’s web site. This was good. However no customer service rep ever connected to me. I tried this for three days. For over two weeks, multiple times a day, I tried to get in touch with a live person. Due to a large number, of calls all the time, there was always a long wait to speak to somebody. Nothing like live support or on line help to fix a problem. Steve thanks for your help.

When you went to the Time Warner page, there was probably a place to log in and check your e-mail. Did you try that? Don't need to waste days and weeks trying to get to them.
