My computer will not play video from webcasts, etc. Windows forum suggested a problem with Adobe Flash so I uninstalled it and resinstalled an older version but results are the same. Video will not play, or a best stutters and tries to play.Win , Intel HD graphics, 6 gb ddr3, 640 gb hdd.

Your subject says Stuttering and in your question you say it will not play. Which is it? Does this happen if somebody sends you a e-mail with a .wav file?

The best I can say is it will try to play but only occasionally stutter. Even a short 2 min, video will not play. Wav. file? Not sure. Haven't got one in a very long time. But, will not even play YouTube videos anymore.

Could be buffering. Don't know what your specs are as you don't have them listed.

Go to User CP near the top left of this page. Fill out your SPECS and when done, don't forget to save them. Look at mine and get some idea of what to put.

You aren't doing something right. If you were, when you got finished and came back to a thread that you posted, you would see My System a little ways under your name on the left side.

Back to the original question which was stymied by my problems with "My System ". Stuttering Video. Video will not play. Will stutter and try but die. Over and over, ad nauseum. Shortest videos will never play.

Well, that worked but I wish I knew why! Did the clean boot and did the services and startup routines and constant restarts but found nothing problematic and after a normal boot up, everything seems to be operating as it should? One interesting point with the services procedure, is that you cannot check to see if the problem is occuring because for a good part of the process, email and internet access is not available. (therefore could not play video.)But, nevertheless, thanks for putting me on this path which seems to have solved my problems.

I will monitor for another day or two. I think videos are already down again but not 100% sure.

Right back where I started, unfortunately. Videos again will not play. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What Internet Browser are you using to watch videos on?
