updater.exe - entry point not found

Every time i turn on my computer, there is always a updater.exe - entry point not found error box that pops up, it says that the procedure entry point regsetkeyvaluew could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll. and when i press ok everything seems to work fine, i just cant turn my volume on or find the valume at all, unless i go to the control panel and go to sounds and devices and once there i cant click anything on the sound properties window everything is grayed out and it says no audio device i havent upluged anything i only use my head phones someone, please help me
