Resolved Cannot change DNS servers on router

    I currently have AT&T UVerse internet and TV service. I want to use OpenDNS, but cannot change the DNS servers on the 2-Wire 3800HGV gateway. I've changed the DNS servers in Windows 7, but the gateway still shows the default AT&T DNS servers. Which servers are actually in use? I suspect the AT&T ones, but I'm not certain.

    The DNS servers are hard coded in that router and can't be changed.

    FYI, setting the DNS on the computer will bypass the router's DNS settings.

    Thanks for your reply. While the OpenDNS page says I'm using their service, I didn't know if they were just looking at my Windows settings or if their servers could see me using their service.
