I have a need to batch convert CDA files to MP3 files in order to faciliate Podcasts for our church. For obvious reasons I want to automate this process and I need software that can do this. I would especially like it if the software could be freeware as I would like to avoid the license issues as I actually need to install this at several sites. Would like to be able to direct the converted files to a particular folder as well. I have been told that it is possible to do this in WMP but I do not find much out there as far as instructions on how to accomplish it. Can anyone provide some insights as to how I might accomplish this task?

Thanks in advance for you rhelp!

I apprecaite the reply Rus and I willl look into it. Since I will need to do multiple installations and folks at those sites will do the installs, I was hoping to provide a complete batch install with software that did not have a license so I could avoid those install complications. Any other thoughts?

Thanks again Russ for your input. In the end I went with Switch.exe from NCH Software. It is a licensed version which I wanted to avoid, but the free ones just didn't offer enough flexibility with the command line option. Because of the unique situation I have, and given that the average user is not very techincally adept, I just did not want to rely on them to handle the situation. By finding a good command line option, I have written a batch file that now automates this process 100%. All the user has to do is to double click an icon. I will just now need to figure out how to handle entering the key automatically in the install process. :)
