On my computer, I used to be able to watch news clips, etc without any problem. Now the clips play but the audio is broken. I think that I must have deleted some file or something to make this happen but haven't been able to figure out what I need to do. Can anyone offer a solution?

    Are your Updates all current?
    Adobe Flash etc.
    Codecs all current?
Graphics card driver current? Cheers Neil.

Hi kmdala. Adding to what Neil said, do other online videos work without problems or is it just the news clips that don't work?

Are the news clips that don't work from a particular website?

Can you give us a link to the news clip?

I will try to attach a clip of the problem. I think that all of the news clips do it on my computer. Recently I deleted some files and must have deleted the one that did the news clips. I will research and advise with more information if I can.

Try updating Adobe Flash Player to the latest version and see if that helps. Download it from here, Adobe Flash Player.

    news clip would not play

Thanks for everyone's help! I finally figured out the problem. I thought that I had uninstalled adobe flash player and rolled back to flash player that was not
a beta but I did not get it to delete the beta. I went back in and deleted the beta
adobe flash player and installed the last version that was not beta and my clips
now play correctly. Sorry to be so slow to reply to everyone but have been
having to take chemo treatments and the treatments knocked me for a bad
loop. Thanks again everyone that replied.

Glad to hear you got your problem fixed. Don't worry about not coming back soon. Take care of yourself and I know that the chemo sure knocked the wife for a loop when she was doing it...
