Windows mail keeps asking for me to login with my user ID and password, not every time but most of the time. Sometimes it will nt accept my login saying the user ID or password is incorrect, I try it several time but it won't accept it. I have then found that if I go into BTYahoo (my service provider) and login there I can then go back to windows mail without it asking me to login.

Go to Tools > Accounts and delete the account and then re-create it. That - more often than not - will cure login issues.

Deleting the account will not delete your emails so its a safe procedure.

I deleted the account and recreated it but I still get the problem of it keep asking me to login and once again I have to login to BTYahoo mail and then go back to Windows mail and it's then ok.

You must be logged in to your service provider before anything needing internet access will work.

If you somehow lose connection with your service provider and then try to retrieve your email, they're not going to let you until they know who you are.

Try using another client, like Thunderbird. See if the problem still exists.

Hmmm... I'm inclined to agree with SpywareDr here. Check that your connection is "Always on" whether that's via a modem or a router. Can you specify whether you use a modem or a router.

We have a router. The problem has only been with my wifes laptop, my laptop that uses the same router has no problems with windows mail.
