[Inactive] Blue error screen/random shut down

Hello my brothers and sisters. It is me again, David. I frequently stop here about 2-3 times a year for help from you all, the cpu professionals. Every time I have come, you have been great. Here I am again, yesterday when I was working on my laptop when it suddenly crashed. Over the past 24 hours, it has crashed 5 times with a blue error screen informing me "Windows has shut down unexpectedly to save me from potential damage." I have also experienced numerous "program not responding issues." This cannot come possibly at a worse time since I am in my final 2-3 weeks of school and finals week is coming up.

I have read the forum rules and here are the four logs asked for:

I assumed it was a virus/malware since last week my Kasperkey found a "high alert" virus. If it isn't anything malicous, I will follow Arie's instructions and post a Dump data log in the appropriate forum. thanks brothers.

any early thoughts about what the issue could be?

I'm posting from my other friend's laptop.

I'm trying to get a dump log from my vaio but it's going through tough times right now. It keeps freezing hardcore whenever any program runs. I remember the few times I had the blue screen, it gave me an error code: Bad Pool Header ?

Anyways, when I can get a dump log from it after I let it settle down, I will post a thread in the windows 7 forum. Thanks
