I ran secunia software inspector and it said the newest version of flash player is 10.3.183.16. I can't find a download for that version anywhere. Should I be going to version 11 or are there issues with it?

If I'm using the 32 bit browser on a 64 bit OS should I use the 32 bit version of flash player? I think so, but I just wanted to confirm this.

Hi Alicia. I would install the latest version of Flash Player which is 11.2.202.228. Download it from here, Adobe Flash Player.

I am running the latest version and haven't had any issues with it.

Yes you should use the 32-bit version.

X2. No problems on any of my PC's and haven't seen anybody complaining about it on any of the forums.

Just a few days ago I ran the Secunia OSI scan on 3 of our computers and had the same version recommended to me that you did. Just below the warning about vulnerability was a "Download" link (or something like that) that I clicked on to get the new version and save it to where I usually do. The Secunia scan even shows you where new file should be installed and run from. A wrinkle I learned in the past is that another Secunia OSI scan will probably show that you still need to download and install the same update again, as though it didn't install correctly or it's not being recognized right. The fix is to first go to Control Panel/Programs and uninstall the old version. Then the update will work and be recognized as it should. That's the way I've been doing it, anyway. Hope that helps, regardless of which update you decide to get.

Thanks for the information Evan. I will install the latest version in 32 bit.

MyBill I'm glad to know that you haven't had any issues with the latest version.

BOBBO I do uninstall the old version before installing the new. It's interesting to note that you had the same results as I did with the inspector.

I suspect that they release updates for both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions simultaneously, so maybe that's why we got similar results. Glad it all worked out for you.

I don't uninstall the old version. Adobe does a pretty good job of doing what it needs to do to shed the old version. I read someplace years ago, the it kind of works like MS updates. Just changes the upgraded/updated things and dots all the I's and crosses the T's. Then changes the version number.
