Resolved Resetting default in Word

    I can't find my original post so I'm trying again.

    My question is whether the default font style and setting in Word 2010 can be changed. The default is Calibri 12pt & I want Times New Roman 14pt. Can this be done?

    In Word on the "Home" tab you will see a box where the current font and size are displayed.

    Use the drop-down lists there to choose the font and font size you want to be the defaults.

    Then look over to the right for two large A's and the words, "Change styles." Click on that and on the bottom of the small menu that opens, click on "Set as default."

    Whatever you have chosen over on the left for font and size will then be the default until you change it.
