Resolved Burning an Audio CD With Nero 8 Essentials

Using Win7/64, Nero 8 Essentials (came with LG burner). Nero has worked fine making copies and data CDs, this is my first attempt at making an audio CD.

A friend sent me 2 lectures as 2 WMP files, mp3 format. Each lecture is 30 minutes, or both lectures should fit on one CD. I opened Nero, selected Burn Audio CD, and added the two lectures to the "burn list ". The "Track Length" was shown as 15 minutes for each...odd, I thought, but I burned the disk anyway. Guess what, I got only the first half of each lecture. Where's the second half? I repeated the process using the WMP burner software, track lengths were 30 minutes and it worked fine. Is there a button somewhere on Nero I should have pushed?

 

The friend sent me two more lectures, Nero worked fine on these....go figure!
