    Thanks for answering.
I have a problem of vocabulary! I try to explain. For example I have 5 photos of a person on my desk(windows). I click on the desk , click on new and click on folder. I get a yellow book with newfolder. I want to rename [new folde]r into the name of the photos, using a smaller font, so I can write longer description .
    Regards

Right click on the folder and choose Rename. Then rename it. You can also after you do this, right click on it again and choose properties/customize tab/change icon and choose one of them. Apply it and click OK out of it.

MrBill, I get the impression that the OP wants the font for the folder name to be smaller than the other Icon Title fonts so a longer name is fully visible at all times.

@Verlaine, if this is the case I don't think what you're asking is possible. The font setting is system wide not folder wide so changing the font size will affect all folders and even if that is acceptable to you I believe the abbreviations would still be cut short at the same point (can someone please confirm this?).

I leave the fonts what they are defaulted at. I have a folder named ring tones. I just changed it to ring tones and other misc. stuff and other junk and it all showed. Made it long though.
