Multiple choice is allowed, since I reckon that most people use multiple browsers depending on the platform they are using at the time.

IE9 on Win 7 and IE8 on XP. Tried some of the others and they are no faster or secure in my opinion. Can't remember the last time that I have got something nasty from the internet.

I use Internet Explorer 9 on my Windows 7 computer and I use Internet Explorer 8 when I'm on a Windows XP machine at my local college.

I've used other browsers in the past but IE9 does everything I need it to do and its pretty fast as well.

FF9 on Win7 solely because there is an add-on that allows me to choose what videos are allowed to run.

I visit a lot of news sites and they start playing as soon as the page is loaded...and always start with an ad. With Flashblock, none start until I allow them and that's worth a lot to me.

    hi

I voted for and use IE6 and FF6,, all other browsers I've tried are slower and more cumbersome..
I prefer ie6 but end up mostly using ff6 cuz very few pages and sites allow or support or whatever,,, ie6 anymore..

Tell ya what.. Talk about slow and cumbersome-------------
I brought a Hi-power game comp with a Sandybridge Windows 7 installed, gave it about 3 months, a reasonable time I believe,, and then went through lotsa trials and errors to delete that horrid OS and install XP home again,,,, ooh yeah,,, I'm in XP heaven again.. Yeah baby............

XP with IE 6, a very bad combination if you ask me, I'd hope you'd have all the security updates but obviously you haven't.

Did you shed a tear IE 6 Funeral?

I voted for Firefox 9, 10, and Other because I've used Aurora (the Firefox alpha build ... presently 11.0a2), as my default browser for several months, with the other two as backups. Each has its own profile, but they're identical.

Except for an infrequent twitch, Aurora has been rock-solid.

I've used nearly every browser out there and my firm favourite now is Waterfox 9.0 running on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. (Waterfox is a 64-bit version of Firefox.)

I use Firefox 9.01 on my laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit version).

Opera 11.60 is quite good for me occasionally but I don't really like the interface. Same for Chrome, which I install, use for a few weeks, end up not liking it as much as Fire/Waterfox, uninstall, wait a couple of months, try a newer version, uninstall, and so on. Maybe I'm a browser junkie.

I tried a Windows version of Safari a couple of years ago and it was dreadful. And as for IE9 - well, I've got it (of course - no choice). The only time I use it is when some download will only work in IE. It's probably not too bad a browser these days, certainly better than before, but I don't need it.

I use Avant, Maxthon, Acoo. Avant is a little bit dominating when you make it default, but reasonably good, Maxthon is pretty good, and I liked Acoo till I found out a lot of sites would not support it. I do not like IE9, IE8 is tolerable. Lower versions of firefox are ok. Opera I dont care for Safari. I at first liked Chrome, but now is harder to navigate for me as it seems things are not visible and I have to search for them. Its pretty much up to the user to choose one that suits their needs.

I knew there was an IE9, but didn't know IE10 was available.

It's not, except to developers. I don't think it's even reached beta status yet and, as far as I can tell, in its present stage of development it won't even run on Win7.

didn't see the multiple choice till too late. I use Chrome, Opera, Firefox (main browser), IE if necessary and occasionally Safari (have an iPhone).

One of the things I don't like about Chrome and IE is that they load multiple copies based on number of open tabs.

Still use latest version of Firefox 3, as every time I upgrade to a higher version nothing seems to work properly.

I use Google Chrome - don't even know which version (it uses about 79 MB of space, according to Control Panel's 'Programmes').
Occasionally, I use IE 8 for my XP SP3.
I am becoming very wary of Google's collecting ability - did you read their latest 'Alert ", re: the use of your info?
    Google is becoming creepy.
I may just switch to Firefox...9-seems to be the fav. version.

Chrome Dev channel on Win 7, sometimes IE8.
Firefox 8.01 on Linux because newer versions are slower on Linux.

Chrome 16, which I think is the current stable version (it just updated to 16.x, so it must be).

I've used mainly Chrome for the past year or two, as Firefox (the one I'd used for several years prior) had become very slow. Every time I try FF it has sucked up lots of RAM, extensions or no, and freezes constantly. I love using that browser, and love it even more than Chrome, but for that.

Chrome's speed and stability outweigh all of FF's customizability. I mean, freezing is why I left IE and started using Phoenix back in the 0.6 days. That's a showstopper. I'd prefer Google not to make so many UI decisions for me, but I can live with it.
