I am running 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate and regularly get an error messgae saying "internet explorer has stopped working" and is closing that program. I'm not sure, but I think I am running internet explorer 8 as my default browser. Any ideas on what might be causing this and the necessary corrective measures needed ? Thank you.....rocknroller

Just as I posted this message, another error popped up saying that there was a connection proble and asked if I wanted to diagnose the problem. I have used this feature before and have never gotten any results. The message always comes back saying that windows cannot determine the problem so I have to use the back button to get to a workablr screen,

Hi rocknroller. I would advise that you upgrade to Internet Explorer 9 and see if you experience the same problem.

I would start there and let me know if you get any more error messages after installing IE9.

Due to some java scripts issues and its running sometimes this message appears on IE8. I see this message many times even when i log on to my facebook website. But on refreshing the page, it gets fixed. There must be some add-ons missing which are now included in IE9 so as Evan Omo suggested, upgrade to IE9 and hopefully you won't see such messages again.
