Resolved ieplore.exe - application error

hi i have just had viruses and maleware cleaned of my computer but when i close the internet page i get 2 warnings the first says iexplore.exe - application error and in the box says the instruction at 0x5003a116 referenced memory at 0x0296ae98 the memory could not be read click on o.k to terminate the program then i get a smaller box saying error and in box says runtime error 216 at 5003A116

 

hi i am running internet explorer 8 on a windows xp computer. the errors only appear when you close the internet page.

 

i just done the fixit for internet explorer as mentioned and is now not putting any errors up.
