    There are not too many options to get Vista .iso these days.

    that error message I posted was after I registered for an account. is it possible to fix using the recovery partition on the hard dirve??

    did not work still got blue screen at login screen

    Download BlueScreenView (in Zip file)
    No installation required.
    Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
    When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
    Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
    Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

    I have opened the file, and tried to run but I get nothing but empty window, in the bottom corner it says 0 crashes

    As far as I can see there is no any infection on your computer, so I'd assume that your Windows installation got corrupted beyond repair.

    I see no other option but to reinstall Windows.
