    Hi all,
I found this software and it checked my system. It fount some 200 problems that it wants to fix to make my system faster and secure. I am not sure if I should trust this software. Any of you have this? Is it safe to do so? Some one willing to test this?
    Thanks
    Sven

Avoid like the plague :) I guess you have to pay for the software to 'fix' your 'problems'.

Hi Sven. As Pete stated, I would also probably avoid this software especially since it doesn't seem that popular on the Internet.

Even though the software does say that its freeware I still wouldn't put my faith in using a program that not many people have used.

You would be better off using a program like CCleaner since it has a good reputation among users.

    XP crashes 5 times

On Saturday afternoon I was surfing the net and for no apparent reason the system crashed. I saw a blue screen for less then a second and it started to reboot. I left the computer, thinking it would just reboot and be fine, and came back after 2 hours to find that my screen is black. I turn the screen off and on again, it tells me “no signal”. I try to turn my computer on, but it will not start up. I’m thinking the power supply is dead. As I push the master switch on my isobar touchmaster control, the 3 lights on my keyboard, num lock, caps lock and scroll lock, flash. I turned the master switch back on and pushed the power button on the computer and the system booted to the screen where it asks how to boot, normally or in safe mode because windows had a problem. I booted normally and after booting all the way, I got a popup asking me to send the crash file to MS. It then opened IE and MS informs me that the file was corrupt.
I found 5 minidump files all dated 1-7-2012. I decided that it was time to clean the system. In the past, I always reinstalled windows every 1-2 years from scratch, and never had a problem with crashes. I did not do this in at least 5 years.
So, against the advice I got here, I downloaded Toolwiz care and installed it. Before I used it, I made a ghost copy of my drive as well as a backup of the registry and a new restore point.
I run the tool and had it fix all the problems (in separate steps, rebooting in between). I have no problems, so far, and the system is running faster, Programs start instantaneously and websites pop in without delay. I must be the luckiest SOB in the world, or the program is not as bad as you guys think it is. So far I like it.
If any problems show up, I will let you know.

It is a gut instinct of mine to steer clear of any software that promises to resolve problems and/or speed up your PC :)

I'm glad to hear that it worked for you and congratulate you on having the foresight to image the drive, etc before using the software.

However the cause of your issues remains unknown I guess for future reference and a debugging of the dump files may have revealed the root cause.

Anyway you came out on top & I hope that you have no further problems!

Glad that you were able to get your system back up and running.

You may have been very lucky with using that program but as Pete stated debugging those dump files could have helped find the real cause behind the crashes.

Running a registry cleaner/optimizer has rarely if ever actually repaired a system that has been crashing as far as I'm aware but who knows. It could have been a corrupt program that was causing your system to crash and that Tool Wiz program could have helped repair your system.

As long as your computer is running well then I guess there is not much point in speculating what the cause of the system crashes may have been.

I don't have the dump files anymore because ToolWiz removed them also.
No problems so far, if I run into any problems, i will keep the file and have you look at it.
Hopfully I have no more crashes
