Ramona, I recently installed W2K and it seems that N/S 7 is running extremely slow and I'm getting netscp.exe error messages while surfing. Any clue what might be happening; do you recommend that I uninstall/reinstall?

    Hi Sal_gal,

I don't have any pat answers for you, but your complaint is not uncommon. I think Netscape tends to run faster on Windows 98. What are you system spec's, i.e., RAM and processor?

Since you are running on a new OS, that could be the problem, and the netscp.exe error is a toss up! In Communicator deleting the Netscape Registry file usually cured that error, but with Netscape 7, that won't work.

I'm really at a loss as to what you can try. Perhaps a fresh install of Netscape and Java might do the trick. I would suggest a new Profile also. Let us know if it helps, and if not I'll keep looking for a solution.

    Ramona :D

I'll have to live with it

Yes it did run faster w/ Win98.
I'm having little bitty probs w/Win2000 and it's an O/S I have to get used to. But it's much smoother than Win98 and boots up quicker w/no stalls.
