Do you see anything on the screen at all when the computer first boots? Can you enter the BIOS?

    Check the following ......

Cable connections to monitor at both ends.

Power light on monitor - is it illuminated and what is the colour?

Response to PeteC's questions is necessary before any guess can be made as to probable cause of problem.
If "polygon" can indicate why he/she thinks that the BIOS is at fault - that might help too along with any "beep" codes that may have been received.
In the meantime, maybe polygon can hook the monitor and its cable to another computer to ensure that the monitor (and cable)works at least.

no beep sound, but after remove and reinstall vga card, i can see the bios screen. But still black blank after window7 startup logo, then i try to uninstall the display adapter and reinstall the adapter and everything seem to be working atm. Anyways, i am still grateful for the replies for your replies. :)

    Three possibilities here, either .....

Graphics card is faulty or contacts were dirty - assuming that you physically removed the card

Motherboard slot is faulty or contacts were dirty - as above

    Graphics driver was corrupted ....

However as it appears that the graphics are working now I would leave well alone :)

and, if no further problems with the graphics, mark the thread as resolved ....
