IE 5 opens small window

lately, if Iclick on a link off a website that opens IE (5.5) in another window, the new window isvery small, in the middle of the screen, all the shortcuts on my compter for IE are set to maximised, and IE is ALWAYS run maximised, closed that way too. It hasn't alwyas been like this.

Where is the setting to alter this kind of problem?

Just the links, the shortcut is set to maximised, and works perfectly.
