I have been trying to download and install Microsoft Fix It Center and it won't run or save. I have been to the website and clicking on the title doesn't bring a response.

I have the icon on my desktop and actually used it to solve a problem on one occasion but since then it has been non-responsive and now seems dead.

Have any of you tried this application? Does it work for you?

    Thanks,
    Lochinvar

I have used it before with no problems. You should post what kind of problems you are having and maybe somebody here could help you and send you in the right direction. You could have Malware/Spyware also. Just sayin.

Hi Lochinvar. I just went to the microsoft website to see if I could download it but it turns out that the product was in Beta and the product is offline.

I have attached a screenshot of what the page looks like when I attempt to download the program.

As Bill said are you experiencing any problems with your computer that would prompt you to install the FixIt program?

Thanks guys for your comments. I was actually having problems with my printer, but that seems to have righted itself. (Fix It once helped me with a printer problem before when HP failed!)

I am having no virus/malware problems and regularly scan with SuperAntiSpyware.

I would however like to have the icon on my desktop activated as it was helpful before. I will keep trying.

I should mark this issue as resolved. If it comes up again I will return!

    My thanks again,
    Lochinvar

I too in the past used MS Fixit, yesterday I found this program saved on my hard drive and decided to install again on my computer. Horror, having installed or rather thought it was installed in my computer, later found no trace and indeed copy previously on the hard drive had erased leaving no trace any where hard drive or computer. Visited MS web site, no trace of Fixit could be located. I appreciate Lochinvar concerns having just experienced the same fate.
