Hey guys could really use some help here. About a week ago I had issues with installation of a driver package for my phone. Thought it was an isolated incident. Now I am unable to install update packages for java, itunes and other programs. I get the error code 2203 followed by various info depending on the program I am trying to install.

I have researched a little but to no avail. Clearly there is an issue with my computer and these installs. Any and all advise you may be able to give me will be greatly appreciated.

I am running a 32 bit version of windows home premium.

    Again thanks.

Just to clarify, I can download the various programs and updates. The problem is on the installation end.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I am trying now to install some of this stuff. Will get back to you in a few to let you know how it is going. Clearly it seems to be a permission issue with the installer, get back to you soon.

Hey thanks again for the help.

I was curious if you might have some idea as to how this issue arose in the first place. I never had installation issues previously and would consider your input valuable. I guess the question is how does the permission get changed?

Thanks again, looking forward to your ideas.

To be honest I have no idea - these little glitches occur from time to time.

The question of malware at work is always top of the list of likely causes.
