Bit locker Cannot unlock external hard disk

    Hello,


    I was encrypting my external hard disk with bit locker on windows 7 enterprise 64 bit.In between laptop power went off and it shutdown. Encryption was only 1.9% done.I have the recovery key and the password.
    After restart if i try to unlock the hard disk, after entering the password, it just hangs.


    Is there any way to recover the hard disk/resume the encryption process.

    Pretty good chance you're SOL. That's the same reason why I won't do a BIOS update if the PC doesn't have a UPS.
