I am using Windows 7. If I click a url link given by either a search engine or another site, I very, very often get a blank screen with a header like the screen clip I attach. I thought it was Kaspersky internet Security, but it happens even if it is paused. Any ideas please? It happens on Firefox, Chrome or IE9 so it doesen't appear to be a browser problem.

Time for you to head to the Malware section. Read the instruction in the first post and go from there. Somebody there will help you get rid of what you have got. Also fill out your System Specs by going to User CP near the top left of this page. Besure to save it when you are finished.

    Perhaps not MrBill,

I had exactly the same symptoms when I used my router to block certain advertising websites (check the URL in the OP screenshot).

@Richard, have you been messing with your hosts file or using any adblocking software?

    Brilliant Wildfire!!!!!!!
It was Anti Banner in kaspersky. I've cancelled that and it now seems OK.
    Thanks again

Unless Doubleclick.net has changed, it used to be a bad site. I know that it now belongs to Google. Still don't like it. I haven't seen it in a couple of 3 or 4years.

DoubleClick is an adserver/information collator (via cookies, etc) so yes most would say it's not a very pleasant service (but AFAIK not malignant), however if you wish to use free services such as search engines you are going to bump into them once in a while.

Richard, by disabling your Anti Banner you are going to see a lot more adverts, but if you can accept that then please mark your thread as 'Resolved'.
