This is a laptop that belongs to my grandson.
Asus laptop Model K52N. Windows 7 Home Prem. MSE, SpywareBlaster, MBAM and Spybot. Laptop is clean as a whistle.
When he connects to the internet wireless, nobody else can connect unless he shuts his wireless off using the FN and F2 keys. Then everybody else can connect with their laptops, and smart phones. Once they connect he can turn his wireless back on and all is well. If one of the devices shuts down or gets out of range of the router, he has to shut down his wireless again for them to connect. Have tried with 4 different routers that were good routers and still the same problem.

I never heard of anything like this, the only suggestion I could make is to make sure the Asus has the latest drivers...

All the drivers are up to date on everything. Not sure if we found the problem or not. His laptop connects with his XBox with an ethernet cable so he can play games on line. It isn't hooked when we have this problem. Had him get rid of the connection and everything seems to be fine now.
