    Hi

I am trying to scan some football stickers and have no problem with that, but when it comes to scan a badge I am getting very poor results. Are there any particular tips how to scan items which are a little shiny?

    Thank you.

It's almost inevitable that when scanning a shiny item the light from the scanner will bounce back and blow the highlights.

One suggestion would be to use a dulling spray on the badge, another to use a digital camera and photograph against a neutral background with due regard to the lighting and any highlights present.
