Resolved Windows Live Mail Displays Photos as Thumbnails

My wife uses Windows Live Mail on Win 7. When she receives an email with attached photos, they are shown as thumbnails rather than simply a list of attached file names as Outlook Express used to do and as I get using Outlook 2010. It doesn't seem to matter how the photos were originally attached (ie by using send to from the photo or using the paperclip icon from an email and selecting the desired file) - they all come shown as thumbnails.

This doesn't matter greatly - double clicking opens them in the nornmal way - but if there are a number of photos, the email can be a bit cluttered. Is there any way to make them display as a list of file names?

Hi alistair, I found this when "Googling" about pictures not being sent when email Forwarded.
This may be why you are receiving thumbnails as the sender may not have used the 'Cancel' option when setting up.
