My desktop machine crashed. I reset all my devices, modem, router, and desktop due to sluggish response only the desktop didn't come back. I was getting multiple dll errors and the XP OS would not load. I tried to run the recovery disk, but to no avail. In any event, I restored the OS, installed all updates, software etc. etc. I backed up my important data however I failed to backup my Outlook address back. I do however, have a complete backup of the "C" drive on my external Seagate drive. What is the name of the file so I can get back all my entries?
    Thank you,
    Brimis

I read the article, thank you. I did locate the pst file and restored it and I do see my contacts, calender, tasks. Now the issue is when I open new mail and select to, I receive a message: The address list cannot be displayed. The contacts folder associated with this address list cannot be opened, it may have been moved, deleted or no permissions. For information on how to remove folder from Outlook address book see Outlook help.
At this point, I cannot create new contacts as well.
    Thank you,
    Brimis

Right-click the Contacts folder, select Properties, choose the "Outlook Address Book" tab, and click "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book ". Click OK, then restart Outlook.
