Resolved [Windows Live Mail: Typing email address not visible]

I have a question. Will try to explain the best that I can. I have a computer that the client is using Windows Live Mail. When she goes to start a new email message and types in the email address nothing appears but the letters are there, just can't see them. If I maximize the email message window then the email address appears. If I set it so new email messages are maximized same problem until I shrink the window. I have uninstalled Windows Live Mail but that did not help. Any thoughts?

This is a new Dell Vostro. Windows Live Mail had been working fine for about 1 month.
