Change Welcome Screen color?

Is there a way to change the background color on the Windows XP Welcome Screen?

Very interesting Daziy, but how do you know what the color codes are? Like I have the home or stucco wallpaper with the coral like background. So where do I find a color code to match it?

 

My best guess would be a good image editor should be able to help you with the colours?

Well Daziy I tried changing the colors like you instructed and it didn't do a darn thing. Still got that ugly blue welcome screen. Followed your instructions exactly, any other sugggestions?

 

For the uninitiated, a wompus cat is a ledgendary creature that is half woman and half cat. In the Oil Patch, it has further mutated into a beast with a head on both ends. Since it can only eat and not purge, it gets quite mean.

 

Thank you for that information. Many people had ask me what a whompuscat is and I only knew that it was a pre-historic beast. Since it actually is half woman and half cat I'm sure "we" are not so pre-historic at all. As for the other part about the oil patch and heads at both ends??????? I'll have to think about that one!!!
