    Couple problems...

Kaspersky did NOT install to the desktop, it ran straight from the setup. I was able to start a scan though and it did prompt me for action so I allowed it to neutralize things like you said to do and it went on it's way for about a half hour, finding 12 infections and when it got to 99% it crashed everything.

So once I got things running again I started the scan again and this time told it to keep scanning and not stop to neutralize things. Let it go and when I looked at it it was at 1% and said it had 8 DAYS before it would be done...and then it gave me a blue screen crash.

Restarted and blue screened again before things stabilized again. Tried going back to Admin account but that gave me the second blue screen...

Also when I restart I get the Kaspersky install thing as soon as I log-in so as far as I can tell it's not installing at all...

    Post fresh OTL log.
Enter same custom script as before.
Only one log will be produced.

If any problem with posting it here....

    Upload the file(s) here: http://www.filedropper.com/
Post download link (copy URL: link):

A fake System Restore killed the scan and destroyed my Recycling Bin, managed to pause the Restore but I doubt it will last long so I'll try the scan again...

If any trouble running the scan normally....

Let's see, if we can look at your computer booting from an external source.

Please download OTLPE (filesize 120,9 MB)

    • When downloaded double click on OTLPENet.exe and make sure there is a blank CD in your CD drive. This will automatically create a bootable CD.
    • Reboot your system using the boot CD you just created.
      • Note : If you do not know how to set your computer to boot from CD follow the steps HERE
    • Your system should now display a REATOGO-X-PE desktop.
    • Depending on your type of internet connection, you should be able to get online as well so you can access this topic more easily.
    • Double-click on the OTLPE icon.
    • When asked Do you wish to load the remote registry, select Yes
    • When asked Do you wish to load remote user profile(s) for scanning, select Yes
    • Ensure the box Automatically Load All Remaining Users" is checked and press OK
    • OTL should now start.
    • Press Run Scan to start the scan.
    • When finished, the file will be saved in drive C:\OTL.txt
    • Copy this file to your USB drive if you do not have internet connection on this system
    • Please post the contents of the OTL.txt file in your reply.

The computer's lost, I am no longer able to log-in as my account is gone, Going to call Gateway to get recovery disks sent and hope that works, otherwise I'll be looking for a new computer.

Thanks for trying to help but it seems I won't be needing the help any more.

Did you try to create OTLPE CD and boot from it?
