I've tried through the options for the calendar in Outlook 2010 to set the default reminder to 3 days. Even if I set it, click OK, and go straight to add an event, it still comes up with a 1 hour reminder.

Does anyone know how to do this and make it stick?

Sorry - have to ask if you're adding an event that is more then three days away;)

My older version seems to do the same thing till I uncheck the "All Day Event" when adding a new event.

    Outlook calendar options

Good question, Steve, but yes the events are always more than 3 days away (or I make the reminder sooner). And the "All day event" is unchecked if I put a time in there.

Still can't get default anything other than 1 hour

Has anyone out there found a way to change the default in Outlook 2010 to 3 days, rather than 1 hour?
