My OMNI2 Digital Video Camera installation files are missing the 'Autorun' file and I attempted to use IE8 InstallMgr.exe file and it failed. How do I fix this problem?

I am not at all clear as to the connection between installing your camera software and Internet Explorer - would you please expand on the issue.

From what source are you trying to install the camera software?

My camera has a supplied CD which was put into my CD-ROM drive where it failed to automatically boot.

I used Windows Explorer to execute the InstallMgr.exe file in the root directory. This file was missing and I downloaded it from a website.

As no doubt you have discovered there is little info on the web regarding the Omni 2 camera and sadly most of that is bad :(

When the camera is plugged into the computer does it show as a drive. If so can you see the contents of the camera and drag the pictures off?

Files don't go missing on cds. Most probably autorun has been disabled on your computer or it was not there in the first place.

Open the cd in Windows Explorer & search for it.
