If I want to send out a mass mailing to a 'group', how do I do this so that they are included in the BCC (blind copy)? When I do it as individuals, I simply put myself in the "To" mailing and BCC the individuals. But I'd like to BCC a group. Furthermore, I'd like to be able to pick and choose members of that group. I can do this beautifully in Gmail. I have groups there according to Family, Friends, Work and anything else I choose. When I BCC a certain group (i.e. Friends), my Friends group pops up and I can select ALL of just check off the ones within the group that I want to receive the mail.

Can this be done in SeaMonkey or T-bird?

Open TB > Address Book > File > New Address Book

Give the new address book a unique name and drag contacts from other address books or lists into the new one. Then when bulk emailing, select which Address Book to get recipients from and individually add as BCC recipients.
