This is a really minor problem and/or oppertunity, but can anyone tell me where I can find a really beginners version of how to use, find and EMail clip art? I've seen some beautiful works on the different sites, but no one tells you how to save, where to save, how to use. I know this is really juvenile, but when you get to be my age, you start acting juvenile again.
    thanks for any help.

crncrn--I am not sure there is clip art specific to emails unless you mean stationery (backgrounds). There are several programs of clip art you can buy. Free clipart is available all over the web. Use a search engine (like www.google.com) and search for "clip art" followed by whatever category you particularly want (like Christmas, or flowers for example). Most sites will allow you to download whatever you want for free (some want money and some others, acknowledgement).
Just right click on a picture that interests you (you do not even have to be on a "clip art" site--this works on most web sites), click Save Picture As, chose the folder to which you want to download, click OK. You now should have the image on your PC. I suggest you scan the downloaded image with your Antivirus before you use it.
If you use Outlook Express as your email program, you can use the clip art in two ways.
(First open a New Message window and start writing a message.)
One way is to Attach it (click on the Attach button , find the downloaded clip art by using the Browse button and follow directions). The other way is to Insert|Picture. Somewhat similar procedure--Browse, choose, but then there is an extra Picture window at the end. Just click OK.
In both cases you must have the box "Send pictures in messages" checked in OE Tools|Options|Send|HTML Settings.
The Insert|Picture procedure puts the image whereever the cursor is in the message. The Attach procedure puts an icon for the image file in the Attachment line. If the attachment is a .jpg, .gif or .bmp the person receiving it will automatically see the picture at the end of the message . Alternatively, he can click on the attachment and Open it. (That must be done for attachments other than the three files types mentioned.)
    Good luck.
