Have been using other software to burn my DVD's never had any problems.
I thought I would try out the built in DVD Maker for windows. Program opens fine but when I click on the add files icon, nothing happens. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this.

    Thanks,

    Jim

PS by the way this hasn't prevented use of the program. A copy and paste works fine. just puzzled at why the add files doesn't cooperate

Do you have a pop-up blocker of sorts? Sounds like the Add Items Window just fails to open.

Whiskkeyman, Thanks, but I already found those links, no help there.

Arie, you are right that is exactly how it acts. I thought Pop-up blockers were for web pages. anyway tried it with it turned off same thing happens. I actually do NOT like the program, it tooks 3.5hrs to burn a disk and then it fowled it up. The same burn with ConvertXtoDVD only took 1 hr.
So I am sticking with ConvertXtoDVD.

I've never used Windows DVD Maker myself.

As to your 'problem', if that is the only application which has a problem opening similar windows, I think I wouldn't worry about it.
