So the defrag just runs in the background when the computer is idle and needs it or does it also run when not idle too? Right now when I open Disk Defragmenter the box is checked for Run on schedule (recommended)
Run at 1:00 AM every Wednesday, starting 1/1/2005
    Last run 8/12/2011 3:13 PM
    Next scheduled run: Never

So the defrag runs whenever needed by itself, runs on a schedule, and I can also manually defrag if I want?

Do I have to run OTL again after this or just create a new restore point myself?

    That's it.

    When you do this:
it'll delete all old restore points and create new one by itself.

Run on schedule and manual scan seem useless if defrag just runs by itself whenever needed.

It didn't create a new one by itself, so I guess I'll manually do it then?

As I said don't worry about defragging.

Go ahead and create fresh restore point.

If no other issues I'll mark this topic as resolved??
