Are you perhaps a little too impatient by not waiting long enough for it to appear?

Have you tried typing the computer name into the address bar, e.g. \\HomeXP?

Did you check out my article?

Without knowing what fix is applied, we can't give more specific advice 'm afraid.

bobm735, you're giving yourself grief when you don't need it. Of course, one isn't supposed to admit that Networking in Windows isn't near as easy or perfect as some are saying.

Network Magic - use it - it'll save you a lot of pain.

Good!!! I'm only new to this program as of last week, but I installed it on three computers and believe me - it saved me from hurling myself out through the basement window. Glad it worked and is working!!!

I'm new to this program myself but here's what you could try - make sure Network Magic is installed on all your machines. If that's a no go, try troubleshooting - then of course, there's support which is free. Let us know how you're doing.

I'm surprised no one else has come in on this - everyone here must be a fan of Network Magic I suppose.

Weird and wonderful - I have Network Magic installed on Windows XP / Vista / and Windows 7 - I'm kind of wishing I could get a problem just to enjoy the experience of it all.

Someone on this forum should have a clue (or maybe they don't) as to what is the snag. If you overcome it from help on another forum, let me know Bob. Thanks!
