The same system as detailed in your profile? (USB or PS/2?)

If so have you tried another?

Any spills or accidents near the keyboard recently?

    Translated as

    1) Same System
    2) Yes, you've tried another keyboard with the same issue
    3) No, No accidents.

If I've got the above correct this is a weird one, it certainly looks like hardware though. I'm guessing you're using PS/2 keyboards (please confirm). If so try a USB one.

Just read your edit (you're using USB), this is a strange one. Have you tried a system restore to a point before this started happening?

sorry, regarding the insane keyboard. I reset back as far as possible and now it shows nothing. Thanks for your time and professional assistance. I have surmise the keyboard is the culprit, and am contacting Logitech.

I thought you'd tried another keyboard? To be honest unless it's a high end keyboard it's probably not worth contacting Logitech (keyboards are pennies and not worth the hassle).

Buy a new one but as I posted previously try another first to rule out other problems (though with USB it is unlikely to be software and very likely a new keyboard will resolve the issue).
