Stop Windows Media Player Auto Play when inserting media.

Hi Everyone. I'm hoping you can help me with this. I listen to music alot on my computer, but when I insert a cd/dvd or USB drive, whatever is playing, stops and switches to whatever media I put it. I then have to go back reload my playlist and restart whatever I was listening too. This is quite annoying. My specs are below.


Windows 7 32/64 bit (dual boot)
IE9 (both)
WMP 12

Is the music on your PC or are you on line listening to it when this happens.

 

Hi MrBill, thanks for the reply. Yes the music/movies are on my pc and I am listening to it at the time I insert a cd/dvd or plug in the device. I was was hpoing there is someway to disable looking for new media automatically, but i haven't found it yet.

While you are on here, go to User CP near the top left corner and fill out you system info.
